A program for novice hunters

This program is designed to provide a valuable experience to first time youth hunters, male and female, ages 10-15 years old.  Participants do not need a Hunter’s Education certificate.

Learn from experienced hunters

This Wisconsin DNR partnered learn to hunt program is designed to give new hunters a chance to learn from veteran hunters.  Young hunters will be paired up with a DNR approved, veteran mentor that will provide expertise and patience to give your child the opportunity to harvest a turkey.  All our hunters are seasoned turkey hunters who volunteer countless hours each year to see this program is a success.

Welcome parents/children interested in learning about turkey hunting and the outdoors!

Turkey hunting is the fastest growing sport in the U.S.  The Pulaski Area Turkey Chasers, National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Chapter, and the Pulaski FFA are again working together to offer our 23rd annual 2020 Pulaski Area Learn to Hunt Program. We are happy to accommodate disabled youth hunters so they too can share the experience (Ages for Disabled youth could extend past 15 years old).  More than 600 children have participated in the Learn to Hunt outdoor experience through the years. To say that the program is a success is an understatement. The Pulaski FFA / NWTF Learn to Hunt Program has been recognized as the Best Learn to Hunt Program in the State of Wisconsin for 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017!
